Here are 2 disadvantages  with respects to  applying pesticide on crops.

-Thepesticide kills by  operating as nerve gases, acting by preventing  electrical messages to the  from travelling  from the brain to muscles that  control the breathing or limbs. This not only  kills the pest, but also  other larger   animals[birds, reptiles, birdsm amphobians and fish] who have a  similar nerve actions.

-Breaks down quickly in the  soil, so  the pesticide  must be applied to  crops more often. This means that a great deal of money will have to be spent on the pesticide as an abundant supply will needed. Also, appplying the pesticide on a more regular basisrequires a lot of time.
